The School of Curriculum and Assessment specialises in the design, development, implementation, and evaluation of curricula and assessment practices for early childhood, primary, secondary, and tertiary education settings in Aotearoa New Zealand. Faculty research aims to advance understanding of effective curriculum models, instructional strategies, and assessment methods that honour Te Tiriti o Waitangi and promote student learning and achievement. Equity issues such as race, gender, class, language, and disability related to curriculum and assessment are also critically analysed.
