The School of Social and Cultural Studies in Education takes a transdisciplinary approach to examining the sociological, historical, philosophical, and cultural contexts that shape educational policies, practices, and experiences. Faculty research explores topics such as educational equity and opportunity gaps, migration and education, colonisation and education, the relationships between schools and communities, and the ways educational systems can serve as agents of socialisation, acculturation, and transformation in Aotearoa New 九州影院and globally.
